it's was a girl's night out yesterday, and though it wasn't very much exciting, it was afterall, the company that made it such a heartwarming christmas. a girlie affair it was. =D

driving is great fun.

and what else have i been doing? let's see.
shopping, watching dvds and vcds, reading.
shopping, watching dvds and vcds, reading.
shopping, watching dvds and vcds, reading.

that's practically all i have been doing. oh, add in cartoons and channel 8.
hairspray, norbit, license to wed, men in white, possessed, monster-in-law, meet the parents, rob-b-hood.

that's about it. i think.

oh well. work only start next year, and now the part time job i have is pretty useless. cos they only call when they need. and apparently, they dont need me yet. oh well. i really have no idea what its gonna be like to be back in my mother school (mu xiao, LOL) but this time, as a TEACHER instead of a small little girl. i think i still prefer being that little girl in a white blouse and blue pinafore, carefree and downright innocent, no worries, no stress, just having fun. but, alas, those days are LONG gone, and it's time to face reality and enter the world of adults which i'm sure cannot be compared to that of a child's.

and that brings me to keeping faith. no, not talking about me keeping faith, but the book by jodi picoult. simply divine, brilliantly written, marvelous story line. now i sound like those critics praising the book, whose words will be printed at the back of the book to entice people to read it. but, it's true. this book captivated me, in the sense that the issues covered are so sensitive yet beautifully debated. trust me, it's really worth the read. though it's very thought-provoking.

i've learnt so much from mariah and faith. and i believe, one more time through that book will bring up more.

i'm deadbeat. and bananas are a nono, at least for a long long time.

standard chartered marathon yesterday, though tiring, those chats with maggie dean qq and dearie were fun =) and all those jokes. tsk tsk tsk. baaaaad jokes. haha.
it was a long long day,
cousin's birthday clebration on sat night,
maggie came over,
went to meet the rest at 11PM at tm macs,
caught fred claus at 12.15AM,
roamed the streets after it ended at 2.20AM,
caught the bus at 3AM,
arrived at the padang at 3.30AM,
waited for that guy till 4 plus,
ate breakfast at 5,
plucked GREEN bananas till my hands rotted,
waited for people till i fell asleep,
woke up at 7.30am,
gave out GREEN bananas till my hands ached,
plucked more icky sappy bananas,
and caught 40 winks.

PREMIUM BANANAS my foot. all green and unripe, had such a hard time plucking it.
and the two aunties who stole BUNCHES of bananas and were caught by the security guard. its wrong of them, but seriously, no one wants those green bananas anyway. and the aunties wanted it. so who cares lah.

"FINISHER OF 42.195km"
=D =D =D =D =D
