it will be reality,

9:48 PM - Don't Quit
When things go wrong as they sometimes will;
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill;
When the funds are low, and the debts are high;
And you want to smile, but have to sigh;
When care is pressing you down a bit-
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Success is failure turned inside out;
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt;
And you can never tell how close you are;
It may be near when it seems afar.
So, stick to the fight when you're hardest hit-
It's when things go wrong that you mustn't quit.

8:19 PM -
ridiculous. utterly ridiculous.
why do we have to be subjected to another 3 hours of mental torture, just so that SEAB can conduct some test? it's TORTUROUS to have to sit down for 3 hours in a row, under exam conditions. and we wont even know how we did just the same - useless.
and having to stay back till 5 plus on a FRIDAY.
RAHHHHH.
i'm irritated. and exams were supposed to be over. hur-hur.
ta.

8:56 PM -
lalalala, lalalala, elmo's world.
lalalala, lalalala, elmo's world.
hahaha. i've in a good mood now. dont know why, guess its because chinese exams are over.
whhheeeeeeee.
it seems easier than mid-years. seriously.
chinese mye, i was clueless about what the passage is rambling on about, clueless as to what the question is. that paper was totally horrible, cos i was half asleep too. i rmb falling asleep halfway. bleh.
but THIS time, horray for myself, i understood what the passage is about AND the questions!!!!!! haha. only thing is whether i answer sufficiently and correct.
really hope this time i can do better than mye. really, really, hope. i want at least a B! but, my compo probably suck. it was the most boring compo i ever wrote, and in the first place my compos werent very exciting. so now, it will be worse. AH help.
thankfully, the air conditioner weren't set to antartica temperature. i was snug and comfy in my sweater. =) only thing, i was dying to go to the ladies. but, i didnt dare to in case i couldnt complete my paper in time. so, for an hour and a half, i was dying. but, this i can stand MUCH better than the extreme cold during the previous econs test. so i pushed myself to read faster and answer faster (i always take my own sweet time. haha) , so i could rush to the ladies after that. obs accompanied me there. 0_0 haha. she asked if i could do the paper and all. lol.
sigh. pw's stressful. on monday night, i only know 6 letters. S, T, R, E, S, and S. i stayed up till 12 to complete the presentation. shu li too. so the next morning, you see two pandas. both late for school. haha. and yes, i was late for the first time this term. haha. not because i woke up late. in fact, i was at the bus stop a few minutes earlier that morning. there were buses at 7am , 7.10am, and 7.15. and SBS tried to be funny, the first two didnt come. so the many ngee ann sec and tpjc people whom i always see at the bus stop were late. all SBS's fault. not that i mind being late, just that after 7.25 they close the side gate, and i have to do morning walk around the school to enter through the other gate. RAH. and we didnt study for the econs test on tues at all. rah. i dont want to fail it!
one down, FIVE more to go! press on, people. we'll remember mrs heng's encouragement always.
PRESS ON. =)
i prayed for clarity of mind, and God gave me so.i prayed for the wisdom and knowledge to understand the passages and questions, and God gave me so.i prayed for calmess, and God gave me so.i prayed for guidance, and God gave me so.i prayed for enlightenment, and God gave me so.thank you GOD.

12:04 PM -
today's the 16th already. how time flies. seems like just a few months ago that we started school at the beginning of the year. now, PROMOS. promos scare me more than horror movies do. i study, but i dont mug. studying is not the same as mugging. but i hate both. ah wells.
meeting up with zian sis to study at the CIA. haha. oh, how i wish i could just board a plane and fly off. and come back only after promos are over. and, chinese As are nearing. and i have yet to touch chinese at all. die. my chinese standard is declining until it cannot decline anymore. chinese lessons are, well just reading textbook, do ws, and sleep. no new words gets processed. chinese lessons are seriously redundant.. unlike primary and secondary school, where the teacher teaches ci yu and all that. and then we memorise those words from the shou ce. then we stare at the book and head for the exam. now, i dont even know how to study chinese. and i cant write a compo without having to refer to the dictionary (the book and the walking ones) every two sentences. all my years of chinese have kind of been forgotten, and i've actually put high hopes on doing well for chinese. hur-hur. dream on.
this week passed quickly and uneventfully. and i thought it was just few days ago that we were enjoying the sept hols. yes, the guilt is in me for enjoying my hols. the irony, you're not supposed to be enjoying your holidays. bleh. but, i will enjoy without guilt for that few days holiday after my exams. =) yayness. looking forward to that real, 100% genuine break. 6th to 10th oct. =) book me, people. haha. supposed to be till the 11th, but rah, the school pushed everything forward cos of early closure. doesnt matter. there's still the nov and dec hols. minus away chinese As and pw oral presentation. ladida.
frankly speaking, i kind of like GP. i dont why, i think i must be crazy. haha. maybe its just that GP lessons are quite stress-free and enjoyable, with all that discussions and no-memorising-of-notes-and-calculating time. really hope i can do fine for GP.. i'll be more than happy to get a C for Gp, and if the impossible ever happens, a B. but, looking at the horrendous GP online quiz results, everything's gonna be pulled down. i've only got a miserable 50 plus % for term 3's current affairs quiz. and my compre always dying. bare passes, and now mrs koh says the exam's going to be tough. OH HELP.
rather than lamenting on the exams, we shld all be wokring on it. ha-ha. i'm trying. still trying. =P

1:31 PM -
hmmm. it has been a long time since i've been blogging. the past few days have past in a flurry, that i cant rmb what i did....
last sat there was kidsRead, the last until promos are over.. and i was pleasantly surprised. he kids actually look upon us as teachers and gave us teachers' day gifts! sweeeeet. really unexpected. though it was simple stuff, it was really the thought that counts. just knowing that this tiny sat class with them is significant to them gives me a sense of satisfaction.
mon, my aunt and uncle wanted to bring my little cousin to the zoo, thus her 4 other cousins went along to have fun AND babysit. haha. the last time i went to the zoo was in primary school. my. that was long ago.. i thought it was just a few years back. sigh. time flies. and the zoo is much nicer now, i guess..
ah meng! hahaha.
then off to dinner at another anut's house. studied organic chem for tuesday's chem test. yes, we had chem tutorial on tuesday morning. spoiler. and i think the test wasnt that bad. hopefully i'll be able to do fairly well for it.. *crosses fingers*
hmmm. let me see. yest had band reunion: lunch then studying. haha. lunch was as ridiculous as ever. at swensens, the usual.. we always have nth much to say once we meet up. strangely. and we always take forever to get a waiter or waitress. as denise said when we wanted to ask for the bill, "now we have to wait another 10 minutes". haha. so, we took like 20 minutes to decide what to eat, 10 minutes to order, 15 minutes waiting, 20 minutes eating... imagine we meet up 50 years later when we're all old and slow (if we ever manage to keep in touch...) we will take one hour to decide and order. and so much was the silence while we ate that we were listening to what those indians (or is it bangras? ...) were saying at the next table. not that we were eavesdropping, its just that it was so silent on our side that everything they said were within earshot. ridiculous things they mentioned, though. hahaha.
i'm thankful for the time spent together, and for everyone's effort. seriously, all it takes is to put in some effort to make time for each other.. sometimes, i just dont understand why people always say that its very difficult to organise a gathering and meet up. it really is up to you whether you're free or not.. and i'm glad for my dear bandies, chengs didi nat and denise.. =)
many things are actually in your own hands. how things become is how you have made it become. in broken friendships, no point saying that the friendship will never be the same again and go on and on lamenting about it. no point regreting for your actions and yet not do anything. if you sincerely want to mend that friendship, then do something about it! how things turn out depends on how much effort you've put into it.. and, my classates seem to be progressing, though i'm certain there's a barrier that limits things.. even so, at least there isnt much tension anymore. i thank God.
this march hols was supposed to be studying time. oh the horrors. but i seriously cant bring myself to study and stare at my notes. now i'm feeling guilty for reading instead. sigh, once i'm into a book, oops! the notes become dusty. hahaha. but hey. at least i studied. 4 chapters of bio. =) though its ONLY 4 chapters.........
perseverance, people, PERSEVERANCE.
i need motivation to study. actually, i do have motivation, but i think i'm just lazy to study. that's bad. haha. but alas, who loves studying?
you came and took it all away, but you returned with much more wonderful things. the sweetness of life.
