singles today. wasnt all too good, but at least i know i did my best, i know coach wasnt too disappointed with me. and dry lanes almost did me in, thank god i managed just fine. 3rd and 4th game at lanes 21 and 22 were fantastic, i love the lane and those pins so much. haha. and by a stroke of luck, the pins decided to fall no matter how i missed the pocket. =D whoa, that really surprised everyone who saw it. LOL. xuan wei -my partner, was so shocked that she said she should start praying as well. lol. thank you God, for your grace. and prayers kept me calm, gave me strength, gave me the peace of mind.

and today, for once, instead of feeling intimidated by tjc and ajc, i think i managed the reverse. =P
like whhhooooo. i never did expect this cos i had been out of form lately, trainings always werent very productive. or so it seems huh.
and poor guys on the same lanes as us, got thrashed. we were lucky, got our team mates on the same lanes. i know its really depressing to lose to girls, that stupid stereotype that guys must do better has always existed. eugene and boon chin were like heads down throughout. poor souls. haha.

AND THEN. last two games at lanes 19 and 20. gosh, dry and horrible. i almost died. yup, i know coach was a little disappointed with the 5th game. but nonetheless, he stood there throughout, encouraging me on, and he knows my weakness so well. haha. and that's confidence. whenever i missed a spare and get an open frame i tend to get it to my head and think about it and why, oh why, i didnt spare it. yeah yeah, forget about it. DELETE. and move on. CONFIDENCE! must have confidence in myself, in my ball. yupppp.

i've got that, good shots more than poor shots, i knew i could do it. i wont allow the lane conditions to do me in, i wont allow for disappointment, not just for coach, for the school, but most of all, for myself.

so it was quite an eventful morning, i think i do better in the morning. but alas, doubles will be in the afternoon. so that means it will be more humid, faster evaporation, and the oiling will probably dry up faster than it did today. Oh Lord, Lord, help me through this again.
no no, we control the lanes, not the lanes control us. =P come on guys, i know you all can do it. we'll create history, we'll show them we're not the lousiest yeah.
